Fenton Gift Shop Sitting Cat Dragonfly Themed. Limited Edition #22 of only 35 made. Signed by artist Kim Barley.
The Sitting Cat figurine first entered the Fenton Art Glass product line in January, 1979 as part of the Crystal Velvet figurine collection. Since then it has been a favorite among figurine and cat figurine collectors. This 3.75” tall Jadeite Sitting Cat figurine features a lovely hand painted design by Kim Barley of yellow-orange flowers and blue berries on colorful green stems. A dragonfly, painted in vivid iridescent aqua-green-blue hues, dominates the figurine (see detail photos above). The delicate wings almost look like stained glass. Kim added hand painted accents on the body for beautiful results! As always, this Sitting Cat sports an adorable expression with large eyes.

This item was pressed by Mosser Glass of Ohio, using original Fenton molds. Fenton Gift Shop hand paints these as limited edition collectibles.
These items are Brand New with original Fenton Box.
