Hand painted by Fenton Gift shop, press by Mosser glass of Ohio using original Fenton mold.

The Turtle figurine was designed in 2001 by former Fenton sculptor Jon Saffell for the Fenton Art Glass “Into the Pond” collection. This diminutive 4” figurine has since become a collector favorite for the young and the young-at-heart! Michelle Kibbe has created a delightful design on this Opal Satin Turtle figurine. The turtle’s body is air brushed in lovely turquoise hues with the shell hand painted in natural brown tones. Michelle added similar tones to the face with colorful stylized patterns on the body. As always, this cute Turtle wears a friendly expression! Did you know. . . The oldest turtle fossils are dated at more than 200 million years old. The turtle is a symbol of longevity, endurance, persistence, and the continuation of life. The perfect addition to any figurine collection!
